Farm Details
Coffee from Cerro Azul, Honduras is produced by members of COHORSIL (Cooperativa Hormiguitas de Siguatepeque Limitada), a cooperative of smallholder farmers cultivating coffee between 1,200 and 1,600 meters.
Cherries are hand-harvested, washed, and dried in the sun, a process that supports consistency and clarity. The cooperative provides shared processing facilities, training, and technical support to improve production quality.
COHORSIL also invests in community programs, including education and reforestation initiatives, reinforcing coffee’s role in long-term regional sustainability.
