Farm Details
This coffee comes from approximately 400 smallholder producers in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, growing coffee at elevations between 1,800 and 2,000 meters. Farms are typically around two acres and intercropped with corn and beans for household use.
Producers deliver harvested cherries to a centrally located wet mill operated by Unitrade Coffee, where the coffee is fully washed and dried using both sun drying and mechanical systems. This shared infrastructure allows farmers without processing equipment to maintain consistent standards.
Unitrade also operates CoffeeCare, a program focused on education, nutrition, and childcare, supporting farming families during the harvest season.
