Farm Details
Coffee from San Marcos de Tarrazú is produced by members of Coopetarrazu (Cooperativa de Caficultores de Tarrazú R.L.), which includes over 4,650 farmers growing coffee between 1,300 and 1,600 meters.
Cherries are delivered daily to the cooperative mill, where they are washed, mechanically demucilaged, and dried through a combination of air systems and controlled dryers. The process is designed for efficiency while maintaining quality consistency.
Coopetarrazu also provides members with access to financing, healthcare, and agricultural supplies, supporting both production and community infrastructure.
